Study Skills and Tips for Academic Success
- Keep an organized notebook with divider tabs for different subjects.
- Take good notes in class and ask questions.
- Leave your cell phone, Ipod, PSP, etc. at home!

Complete all classwork and homework assignments.
- If absent, ask for make-up work upon returning to school.
- Attend tutoring at lunch or after school if you need extra help in your classes. Find out when your teacher offers tutoring.
- Ask for a progress report/grade report to find out if you are missing assignments.
- Call or email your teacher to help you become more successful in class and get specific information about your progress.
